Allegra + Fruhmann are a couple I’ve known for almost a decade so I’ve been looking forward to photographing their wedding since the moment they got engaged.  These two tied the knot overlooking the Hudson River with Allegra in an incredible dress featuring a purple to black ombre bottom and Fruhmann in full Hobbit regalia.  They celebrated into the night at Croton Point Park, sharing a first dance while their friend played his violin and soaking in the sunshine playing lawn games at sunset and camped out in the park for the night after things died down.

Surrounded by their friends, their family, and their adorable one year old, Kait + Matt became husband and wife on a crisp day at the Oakeside Bloomfield Cultural Center.  Though early rain caused their ceremony to move inside the beautiful mansion, the sky cleared for the rest of the evening as they celebrated in Great Gatsby style.  I especially loved the wedding party style (bridesmaids dresses by Rent the Runway!) and Kait’s unique floral arrangement on top of Matt’s family bible.

Kate + Matt have dreams of exploring the world together with their little boy so when they were unsure of what to do for their engagement session I decided to take them to my little slice of heaven, a small island in the middle of the Barnegat Bay!

Victoria + Moises were introduced in a rather unique way, when Moises was assigned as a teacher’s assistant to Victoria’s classroom.  They became fast friends and tried their very best to keep things cordial but by year 3 Moises had had enough.  He needed to be moved to another classroom so that he could finally ask Victoria on a date.  His request was granted and their love story blossomed from there.  Fast forward and these two are now both teachers (with their own classrooms!) who said “I do!” in a fantastic ceremony near Victoria’s childhood home in Monroe, NY.

I was so excited to return to Arrow Park Lake + Lodge and even with a few raindrops (prompting a last minute ceremony change) , Victoria + Moises’ incredible wedding day did not disappoint.  From their lakefront first look to a special appearance by their dog Mimi these two celebrated their day with their entire hearts, something you could tell by the look on their faces from beginning to end.

Tina + Mike were the definition of together on the day of their wedding.  From getting dressed to the walk down the aisle, they spent every moment side by side supporting one another and celebrating their beautiful journey.  After getting ready at the incredible Lokal Hotel, we strolled down Race Street to the wonderful pier and then over to their venue, the always beautiful La Peg.  Though threats of thunderstorms moved their ceremony inside, the rain held off and resulted in a late July day that felt more like early autumn.
